Description: How to show/hide the sidebars (containing the layers w/ options and the various tools).

A little while ago I was working an adobe photoshop and lost the section holding my layers and tools palette. Or, so I thought. Whenever I wanted to view the side, I had to hover the mouse to the left or right of the screen just to view the options!

After searching google for a while I couldn't really find anything. I then went through pressing random keys on my keyboard to see if I could get the sidebars back. After hitting various keys for a while, I came across one key in particular.

The tab key. By hitting the tab key, I found out that it makes the editing portion of photoshop disappear entirely.

So if you're on a small screen and simply want to expand the picture on your screen or there seems to be no feasible solution to your issue, use the tab key. It works. Sometimes the simplest issues are the hardest to solve. Hope this helps. +Rep me in the bottom right if this worked for you.
