Quake is based on iD. Sierra developed their own engine, iirc. If Sierra did use the iD Tech engine, then pretty much every game is based on Doom. <3 Doom

Oh. Lol. Does it charge up and obliterate everything? And I think one of the best weapons is... an obelisk of light. Its the length of an 18 wheeler and is shaped like a scorpion tail. It charges up a laser and then fires which molests everything it hits.
